As a faculty member, you have many demands on your time: teaching, serving on committees, supervising interns, family, friends, and community activities. On top of all of that, you are expected to conduct research and publish the results. 

Submitting your work to academic journals can be tedious and consume an extraordinary amount of time. Smart Writing Solutions offers a concierge publishing service; all you need to do is click “submit” when you are ready to send your work to a journal!

Services include:

• An initial consulting call to discuss your work and determine the type of journal you are targeting 
• An exhaustive search of journals for which your work may be appropriate; you will receive a list of 3-5 potential journals from which you may elect to submit your manuscript
• The potential journal list will include any specific requirements (e.g., maximum word count) to help you determine which journal to select or any modification that we need to make to your manuscript.
• A comprehensive line edit for grammar, punctuation, mechanics, formatting of tables, and publication style (APA 7th edition, MLA, or Chicago)
• Preparation of your document for journal submission; often, this requires additional files, such as a bio page, a title page that is separate from the manuscript, a page in which you designate whether there has been financial support for the research and declare any conflict of interest, and tables and figures on separate pages than the manuscript
• If your document is accepted with revisions, Smart Writing Solutions editors will work with you to complete those expeditiously.

After your manuscript has been prepared and you have had a chance to review it, we can do a final consulting call to discuss any remaining items.
